Visualizing Complex Legal Strategies for High-Stakes Litigation.
As an Information Designer at Dubin Research and Consulting (DRC), I specialized in creating trial demonstratives and legal graphics for some of the most significant litigation cases in the country. Working within a firm recognized for producing the industry’s most effective courtroom visuals, my role was to distill complex legal theories into clear, persuasive designs that helped juries navigate intricate evidence.
My work involved a heavy focus on deposition video editing and trial presentation using OnCue. I was responsible for the technical and visual preparation of video evidence, ensuring that testimony was synchronized and edited with precision for seamless courtroom execution.
Beyond the design phase, I frequently worked on-site alongside legal teams during active trials. This involved real-time collaboration with attorneys to adapt visuals as cases evolved, managing the high-pressure environment of the “war room,” and ensuring flawless technical delivery in the courtroom. This role required a high level of technical accuracy, extreme adaptability, and a deep understanding of how to present information effectively under the intense scrutiny of a trial.
Because DRC handles high-profile and sensitive legal matters, the specific visuals and client names associated with my work remain strictly confidential. However, my time there allowed me to operate at the pinnacle of information design, where clarity and narrative-driven visuals were paramount to the success of complex legal arguments.
